Thank you everyone who's followed in the last week or so. I'm working to get some more stuff out soon. See this previous post to know what I've been up to.

I've been working on a handful of things these last few months & I'm looking to do another batch release sometime soon, hopefully before the end of the month. I've taken the time to work on a lot of side stuff I've been wanting to do so their will be a lot to show off. There's drawings, chibis, icons, and even a short gif animation.

I know I said I wasn't going to post anything until most of the KING "structure work" was done, but I might just post what I've made so far anyway (And I also sorta broke that with the pixel day drawing anyway -__-). I hate breaking these rules I make for myself but I don't think showing the things I 've made so far is a bad thing, I'm just a stubborn idiot sometimes and I was maybe being a bit over-optimistic thinking I could right an entire book in a few months.

Speaking of KING, the script isn't finished but progress is at a steady pace. I'm not gonna say too much just so I don't jinx myself but a lot of work has gone into it.

So basically, I still have a list of crap to finish, I will finish it. Just consider the stuff I post in the next week or so as a progress update I guess. I should have a drawing up for Valentine's that's looking really cute also.

Well this was definitely a surprise to see, I'm really glad people seem to like my silly bird girl drawing. Honestly I wasn't sure what to think about it after I finished. I think it turned out alright. It was lot of fun if not time-consuming to get that technical with a drawing and I still love the pose and her expression. I think the "Math sparkles" were a really cute idea too. Although looking back I think I managed to add too much detail in some areas somehow. Also the lighting ended up a bit screwy on the dress.

But I'm my own worst critic and it's my first FP so I shouldn't complain too much so I'll just say thank you! I learned some new things while making it and I'll definitely try again next year. Here's a quick sketch of Halie being cute.

So it's been over 3 months since the last page of KING and in all honesty work hasn't even started on page 6.

There is a reason for this though. I've been slowly re-writing the script in-between my job and work on other drawings. It's frankly needed it, after re-reading it some stuff just didn't make much sense and/or wasn't very interesting. On top of all this it never even got past chapter 3 so I've never even had the full picture but just vague ideas of what I wanted to write.

So now that I've got out a decent handful of art pieces, I'm going to go radio silent for a little while to work with minimal distractions. My plan is to get the entire KING script written and then get all of chapter one storyboarded. I won't be back until I have at least that done and a few art pieces including page six. After page six I'm going to aim for a batch release of the rest of chapter one as crazy as that sounds. How long the rest will take I'm still not sure but I think I've got a good plan for how to get it done.

Unfortunately this also means I won't be streaming for a while, which does suck as I was pretty consistent about it for a month or two, but at least this time I'll be stopping by intent and not by lack of motivation, laziness, etc.

I appreciate everyone who's been following my work and favoriting/watching and being patient with me. I'll try not to be too long getting back. In the meantime I hope everyone takes care of themselves and stays safe with all the craziness going on.
